Preview text: It would only get more ridiculous as the sinking realisation set in that Saihara’s only two options were to either sit around, hoping that help would come his way, or to set off on his own to find it; especially as he couldn’t remember when he’d last passed by a house. Oh, and it’s getting dark now, too. So when the shape of a small house looms out of the descending fog, Saihara is reluctant to believe his luck. For one, not a single light is on, so at best, the occupants are simply not home. Saihara refuses to consider an ‘at worst’ option.

My next fic for the A Picture's Worth 1000 Words challenge is now on Ao3! Saihara is stranded in the wilderness with no choice but to look for help where he can get it, even if he may have actually been better off on his own.
