Since 2011 @wslresearch.bsky.social has monitored dry meadows & pastures, fens, raised bogs, floodplains & amphibian breeding areas. The latest data 2017-2023 show both wins & concerns for biodiversity.

✅ Clade 5b (P. csikii) is native to both the Ahr & the mountainous Sieg

✅ Clade 10 (P. phoxinus) is native to the Sieg's foothills

🚚 Historical introductions brought additional clades (10, 11, 12) via (trout) stocking from other drainages
