Honestly the Chicago Vs. Ireland title matches are what I’m most curious about.

I’ve drastically decreased my time on social media this year and have been able to focus more on reading and writing.

I had my “Metal Or Nothing” phase.

It wasn’t fun in hindsight but I was just a dumb teenager/young adult.

Eddie (and too many others like him) are well into adulthood still angry when other styles of music get props from places like The Hall Of Fame.

That can’t be healthy.

I get Metal/Rock being your preferred style, but I have noticed that guys like him always seem to get particularly angry when R&B Singers/Groups or Rappers/Hip-Hop groups get nominate/inducted.

It’s…very telling behavior from them.

Now I can understand feeling that certain bands should be honored in it that haven’t been in it yet, but Eddie Trunk acting like the only worthwhile music is Rock or Metal is honestly really embarrassing for him and other Rock/Metal fans like him.

Non-Rock acts have been inducted in the R&R HOF since Day 1 when Ray Charles, James Brown & Sam Cooke made it in, so it’s not like they ever only accepted bands with electric guitars. They’ve always been open to all forms of music, which is great.

This was inspired by me learning I can’t log into my Twitter account due to “unusual activity”.

Have no idea what said unusual activity could mean, though it might have something to do with my last tweet ending with “Fuck ICE”.

I might have a chance to see Ghostface Killah a week before my birthday in a venue about 10-15 minutes away from me.

Sounds like an opportunity I should take advantage of as long as something else doesn’t take priority over it.

Anything good we could potentially get from Twitter or Facebook at this point is vastly outnumbered by all the bad aspects of both sites and social media in general. This has been the case for a while now.

Had good times on both, met good people on both, but neither are missed by me.

Look, as someone who doesn't post but still keeps an eye on the other site, let me say this plainly: for as much as Bluesky gets caught in endless exhausting debates about its own relevance, it's way better than the hellscape of nonsense devoid of the sober second thought over there.

Just putting this out there: Would be cool to see a remaster next year around the time the sequel comes out.
