and FWIW, I was actually in the Noni camp regarding the Noni v. Neto debate in general. I just don’t think it’s as black and white as some people make out and they were both at similar levels in the end.

It wasn’t an argument of why Neto > Noni, it was just said to smash the illusion that Noni was by far our best winger like Neto didn’t do anything worthwhile.

Not claiming Elanga at all, you’re the one who brought him up & I was just bringing some to the table. You’re just busy here inserting your own assumptions and arguments instead of simply discussing. You’re talking about Noni here like he’s a 30 G/A player.

Where in the world do you get hyping up from? Neto had a stronger end to the season, scored important goals and assists in the run. “Two kids” alright let’s talk at the end of next season. Pedro we’ve seen float in the PL and the Championship. You’re doing too much for a guy that’s been up and down.

Noni after GW2 scored 4 goals in the league. Best out of a bad bunch of wingers. Now got Gittens, Estevao, Neto and Pedro as wide options, with Quenda coming in. Noni has potential but it’s also possible that he has a down year and his stock crashes. We have guys with more upside in the side imo.

Elanga has more assists in the past 2 seasons than Noni does G/A overall.

Elanga has been better overall than Noni during Noni’s time at Chelsea.
