I agree. My comment was not meant to be critical, only to point out the use of the word "king" was taken too literally by some. Modern tyrants generally seize power through democratic means -- while only maintaining only the facade.

This is what the #NoKings crowd got wrong. Even in a monarchy, there are limits to what you can get away with. In an authoritarian regime, not so much.

And we seem to be living in the golden age of it.
