Thank you yes two days of sweating what ever it was seems to have helped me get back on the side of being slightly normal again

Thank you yes when I had the cold shakes I thought I was having a stroke or something as had never experienced shaking like that before.

So recovering from a bug which was rather unpleasant to say the least. Two days in bed with fever, cold shivers, nausea and wanting to vomit. Not pleasant but now feeling better.

Nope nothing at all from the mother. I’m glad though that it was me driving in a way. So many others drive down this road as if they were in a race even though it’s a 20mph limit.

The Mother just came over and grabbed the child didn’t say a word to me or the kid! There were other people on the other side of the road who shouted to the parents you need to keep an eye on your kids etc so had plenty of witnesses who would have said not my fault. I didn’t sleep much that night.

So glad I have a dashcam in the front of the car. Yesterday when driving home a small kid ran into the road trying to cross it whilst his parents were unloading their car and nearly went into my car. Thankfully I was only going slow and emergency broke before things could have ended badly.
