He made a cameo in the one-shot with part of the BG3 cast hosted by Mark Meer in Dragon Con 2024, which I was listening to while working on art, and his description caught my interest

Warduke, a member of an evil adventuring party in Wild Beyond the Witchlight and also a character from way back in 1e, wears half plate armor, which in his case means "one side is completely covered in chain mail and the other side is basically naked". Pretty fun and cool but also kinda hot lol

I’m not a weirdo, you are! Ed Greenwood: Dragons and dragonborn have human-like genitalia, but these are normally hidden within natural shallow (and flexible scale-covered) body cavities that are accessed through natural “slits” or slot-like openings normally kept closed by powerful muscles, but which can be gaped (and held wide open) by the owner of the body. The “rolled edges” of the slits are scale-covered and supple, and in most cases can form an airtight and watertight seal if the body owner wants them to.

Listening to Ed Greenwood's BG3 streams and he said that "Dragonborn questions should be directed to WotC. That is their commandment on that after my comments". Tried to look into it and this is the most recent dragonborn thing I can find, so this may or may not be it. That's... very interesting lol

In reply to a question about circumcision, initiation rites, and sterilization. Honestly, I find Ed Greenwood's directness and thoroughness about these kinds of topics somewhat admirable lol

I like how there's not much elaboration on each of them, which leads me to think that it was a safe assumption in the 70s that the average American tabletop gaming nerd just inherently knew the difference between a "brazen strumpet" and a "wanton wench"

Well this was AD&D back in 1979 so dragonborn didn't exist yet

A snippet from the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Masters Guide, published in 1979 "Harlot encounters can be with brazen strumpets or haughty courtesans, thus making it difficult for the party to distinguish each encounter for what it is. (In fact, the encounter could be with a dancer only prostituting herself as it pleases her, an elderly madam, or even a pimp.) Pretty cool detail that took me way too long to notice lol. Elves in BG3 such as Astarion, Halsin, and Minthara meditate instead of sleeping when you take a long rest, just as elves in D&D don't need to sleep and instead go into a semiconscious trance for four hours a day
