Before we jump into the Z-A era, I wanted to speak on DK Bananza. I rolled credits a couple of weeks ago, and wow! This game is incredible all the way through. Movement, visuals, platforming, characters, bananzas, and especially that incredible finale.

My first time really playing Galaxy 2, and it’s a great time. It feels so good to experience that 3D Mario platforming with Yoshi 🔥

Still working my way through Bananza, and this game is adorable. The Tempest Layer was pretty incredible! 🐘

Mario Kart World screenshots the girlfriend took on our switch. This game is super pretty :)

Was able to pick these two amiibo up finally, what a great deal GameStop had!

Each was only $5.99, and how could we say no to the glow in the dark Boo?

We also got these guys! I pulled Bowser Junior, she pulled Wiggler! There’s only two others to collect and we both really want the Toad and Peach one next!

The girlfriend and I got some blind bags the other day at the mall. I guess it was a Beam Kirby kind of day!

These are great little figures, I love the swinging Kirby line! The detail is impressive and it’s super cool :)

The first time I heard about this book was on Patterns Tell Stories, and I read it immediately after that. It has that self published feel, but was well written, and it does feel like a realistic and believable look at some sort of communications program.

I wonder when Chris took interest in it.

In Donkey Kong Bananza, DK follows objects of interest with his eyes. However, he has an incredibly short attention span. Whenever a new object enters his vision, his attention is drawn to it instead. If many objects are moving, he will be distracted by each new one.

I’m really hoping this comes together well, I’m going to put a ton of effort into this. I literally wore this weird neck/chest attachment so I could record what it looks like to control your character with mouse mode in this game 😭

I’m still playing it! It has so many different genres combined into one game. So I’ll level up for a bit exploring, or work on customizing my home base, or mess around with the crafting lives. It’s a good pick up put down game. So far I’m just shy of 20 hours in and still have a way to go!

It’s an amazing game, I hope you really enjoy your time with it! Have fun :)
