Today's #ootd is this 1920 Paul Poiret afternoon dress. It is both distinctly 1920s, with the geometric motifs and folded neckline and sleeves, but it also looks very modern, like it could be worn today. Absolutely stunning. I love the side buttons.

The inner quilting of the suit jacket has been turned into decorative stitching, and the armholes of the suit are purposefully unfinished. The Model wears wide-legged, slouchy pants and the double-breasted suit has four large buttons on the front of it. The suit has contrasting fabric swatches in various shades of black, with a long black train, as if it was in the process of being fully finished.
