Never heard of ASPR?
It’s the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response. For health emergencies. Like natural disasters or infectious disease outbreaks. You may not know or think much about ASPR on the regs, but you’ll notice when it’s not there for the next health emergency.
ASPR plays a pivotal role not only in pandemics, but in the kinds of health challenges that occur after tornadoes, hurricanes etc.
We won't miss ASPR in years or decades -- we'll miss it in weeks or months.
