The Penny Arcade Expo was created by the Penny Arcade guys, yes! Tycho and Gabe (or Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik) the webcomic guys started that convention which plays all across the world (there is also a PAX Australia!)

Yeah, again, not even my community, I'm not into vore at all, but witnessing the whole fiasco from the outside just felt like such an overreaction to something that was a pretty small thing. Like if you thought the non-free version was too much? Go back to what you did a week ago and forget it?

They backed out immediately when it got too much attention, including offering refunds, so I sincerely don't think it was a grift. They wanted to make a fun new thing and it just exploded faster than they thought.

It was functionally Early Access, if you wanted to pay, you would pay for the early, unfinished version, in testing, not a finished product. Now I don't like Early Access much in general, but it's a thing that exists and if it must, overcharging so only the most invested apply, seems appropriate

I think it has a place! I wouldn't mind a similar hyper-specific one for fat ferals as is my interest, I don't expect it but if it popped up I'd probably want to take a look XD and just hope it doesn't get swarmed and demonized immediately for whatever thing people decided was bad

I'm not even in the vore community but the posts I've seen about Gulpr seem wild. It had a free version and people got wildly angry about non-mandatory opt-in features that cost money for an Early Access build. Maybe give it a bit, like a year, to be a thing.

It feels just a liiiiittle bit weird that 'okey-dokey' is being used as like, an anachronism in Fallout to show they are from the past but my family and where I live still regularly say that and things like 'aaaaaalrighty' today, lol

it's a really great body to hold the equipment as well though, which makes it a bit different from most of the others. But yeah I'd definitely be looking at it more for the energy decks than equipment decks, so it'll likely slot into my Liberty Prime deck nicely

Just beat the game Legendary, and one thing it did, which is one of my favorite things, is take every opportunity to make a joke out of every ad, company, label, etc that it could. Indies still do this (see Another Crab's Treasure) but it's much less common in AAA games these days, and I loved it

I have to recommend posting at minimum, most of your references and character stuff on FurAffinity. It's actually a gallery website (which most social media sites are not), you can reliably link to it for your references and such if you're commissioning things, it's very searchable, mostly positives

I'm a tired old furry, but cuz I am old I have a lot of experience, an if I could impart some of that to younger furs it's this: Research real answers to things. Show some initiative, don't accept the first response you get. AI wants you to fail and accept the first wrong answer, be better than that
