I changed my inking style, scanned this at the library, and re-taught myself to clean up images digitally to make something print-friendly. I can find a way to clean up when the cause is right. Taking critique on text placement, but tbh, I think next time I'm building the text in from the start.

Chat, I'm trying to teach myself digital painting after a lifetime of being obsessed with analog. Is this literally the worst time to be doing this? Is it actually too late and I'm gonna be proven right at the least convenient time?

The really insane thing about this is that the first typewriter I brought was a refurb of a model from the 50's, and I got it because I was concerned about computers all just dying, I guess.

Anyway, and then AI happened and now it's looking like there just might not be computers for a while.

I love love love hearing the coyotes at night! I know I have a romanticized opinion of them, but they calm me so much.

WIP- being topical. Looking through an ICE tracking page and realized I missed them while running errands by one change in decision yesterday and feeling all sorts of things.

Today’s assault and murder makes me even more angry at all the “don’t take the bait let’s turn the temperature down” rhetoric from state leaders. We can’t just let them murder people like this

I feel for this guy! First time I doordashed the app crashed immediately after getting someone's food and I spent 20 minutes on customer service trying to figure out what I was supposed to do with some stranger's meal getting cold in my car. Feels like accidentally stealing and having no backup, lol

And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”

Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.

I worked from a number of photos for this one, but I tried specifically to get the look in his eyes that he got when he looked at his caretaker vs. another friend. It's always interesting for me to see how pets choose people, and how they express that choice.

Omg! Starfox. I still sometimes say, "do a barrel roll!" I think we got a 64 a little after this era, but these were all at Blockbuster.

My friend carries one around while traveling and living in a tent while working gigs. I thought this was insane, but between that and a serious crochet habit, she's unstoppable.

If you want to confuse everyone: make sure your motivations have to do with everything else besides money. No one will be able to guess why you're doing anything. It's glorious. Instant mystique.
