It’s worth emphasizing that the Supreme Court has propped up this presidential lawlessness.
When Congress enacted limits on presidential power in 1973, it included an enforcement provision. If the president said there’s an “emergency from attack” and Congress disagreed, it could order troops home.
I like the idea that GUIs made a lot of stats too accessible without the requisite knowledge that contributes to our current poor scientific practices, but we are also being encouraged to adopt AI to streamline our work

Another cool data blitz from #SPSP political psych precon. People asume there are two large coalitions in the U.S.: liberals & conservatives. But, work by @isaiasghezae.bsky.social suggests there are instead 3: (1) conservatives,
(2) ideological liberals, and (3) a liberal demographic group.

They legitimately crashed out and asked my wife to stop calling their number.
So naturally, she started calling every other number they had as well as a form of malicious compliance. They do not like it when you do this--so isn't that reason enough to do it?
Has anyone else had so much negative emotion attached to a project you can't physically bring yourself to work on it

In Davis a destructive anti-trans activist routinely stalks children with her camera, doxxes trans folks, and assaults people. She harms people on purpose, on camera.
She's supported by a national orgs that incentivizes her behavior for clicks. They want to manufacture perception, not change minds.
”Most of the applications of clustering are not well thought out, not even considering whether observation clustering aligns with clinical goals.”
YES.
Clustering has become a huge fad in psychology as well, I see it everywhere.
One unintended skill I developed from posting too much is that I am now very comfortable editing my papers on my phone.
