I've found, that the 21 items on last year's list would cost $8.35 per person to feed 8 people, as compared to the $6.48 per person cost in 2024. This would be a 22% INCREASE in price from 2024.

But that doesn't account for deals and sales currently listed on the Walmart catalogue. (5/6)

But what it leaves out is that last year's list claimed to feed 8 people and this year's claims to feed 10, further lowering the price per person touted by Walmart.

The Afghani population in America is roughly 200,000-250,000. That would mean roughly 91,200-114,000 Afghanis receive SNAP benefits, according to this graph and give or take a margin of error... (4/7)

What this graph ACTUALLY represents is the percentage of households of each of the listed ethnic groups that receive SNAP benefits. So for example, it's not 45% SNAP receivers are Afghani, 45% of Afghani-American households receive SNAP benefits... (3/7)

First and foremost, this graph could not even possible represent the demographic of SNAP receivers by race, as in it is literally not plausible. The first three numbers alone add up to 124.8% So, yeah... (2/7)

It claims that Afghanis make up 45.6% of SNAP receivers, Somalis 42.4% and Iraqis 34.8% (Yes, those three alone do total 124.%) For perspective, white people on this graph are labeled 8.6% The data has been obviously misconstrued and I will debunk it in my thread.
