Talarico does not need a +6 ”WAR” score
- Texas was Trump+12 in 2024
- Maybe Trump+10 with the Latino reversion we are seeing
- That’s R+8 on lean
- It’s a D+7 to D+8 year
- That puts it at R+0 to 1
- Talarico has potential positive residual
-Paxton had documented negative residual

There's been a lot of debate within the Democratic establishment about what rhetoric to use via ICE.

Well, an incumbent doesn't lose by 48 percentage points very often—and her vote on collaborating with ICE was the defining issue here.

CNN put together a montage of the regime's incoherent talking points about Trump's war on Iran

This is such a weird discourse because most of the prominent Dems who have pulled a Fetterman (including Fetterman himself) aren’t particularly religious. Sinema is famously an atheist!

Jimmy Carter vs. the Fairness Doctrine We’re still feeling the aftereffects of Jimmy Carter’s broadcasting deregulation.

Depository Institutions Deregulation and Monetary Control Act of 1980 One of the most important laws to affect the Federal Reserve in its 100-year history, the Act was aimed at deregulating depository institutions and improving the Fed's control of monetary policy.

He (and Congress) abolished the interstate commerce commission

Deregulated airlines
And the trucking industry

The vote count in NC SD-26 showing Page at 13,077 and Berger at 13,075

Wow. With all precincts reporting—but some provisional and absentee ballots left to count—North Carolina Senate President Phil Berger is losing the GOP primary in NC SD-26 by TWO VOTES.

imo Carter gets little blame (or credit) for getting deregulation moving

But he did
Years before Reagan came into office

This will get recounted and challenged for sure, and the lead could change, but as of right now two voters just decided the direction of the #ncga Senate. #ncpol

Honestly speed it up, so we can separate the slop mills from the places that slow down and let humans do real reporting and investigations again.

What we know so far, 9:30pm:

1. Few final results.
2. In NC, 3 Dems who helped GOP trailing.
3. Crenshaw, Al Green in trouble.
4. Dems close to a leg flip in Arkansas.
5. Cornyn & Talarico narrowly ahead.
6. Close Arkansas supreme court, tho redder counties await.
7. Fort Bend County exec ousted.

Strongest signal yet from Colorado Gov Jared Polis (D) that he'll give clemency to Tina Peters as President Trump has demanded. Polis notes a fmr Dem State Senator recently got probation on charges that drew prison time for Peters, who unrepentantly defied the judge at sentencing

This is ludicrous. The charge may be the same, but the facts are utterly different. This is the sort of thing you say when you’re looking for an excuse to capitulate without it seeming like capitulation. Nobody familiar with both cases could seriously claim they’re remotely analogous.

Did tho discover just yesterday that John Adams wrote a “dissertation on the canon and the feudal law” so maybe he’d have a take

For those who don't know, Tillis LOVES Dogs. He holds a "Bipawtisan" parade every year for dogs during Halloween and even dressed up his dog as Kyrsten Sinema one year for Halloween. He hosted a Mardi Gras dog parade last month. #NCPol #NCSen

we appear to have four competing fascist movements jockeying for control: blood & soil nazism under miller and hegseth, darwinian ecofascism from rfk, technofascism under vance and musk, and one Big Wet Hitler who understands the true animating core of the american volk is a deep love for shopping
