PARK PROTEST! Find your park and get out on Saturday!

Trump threatened to sue journalists, authors, and book publishers who use anonymous sources. Granting certain sources anonymity is a common journalistic practice, especially when sources fear retribution.

Take the wins as they come, but recognize that it may just be a bandage for the giant problem the DOGE bros created

Good news!! The federal hiring freeze for seasonal NPS rangers has been lifted due to the noise me made. Good work 👏🏼
But this is not as good of a win as we would’ve liked. Our permanent rangers are still out of jobs. This will still leave our parks understaffed and not properly cared for this year

They’re firing aviation employees. They’re firing IRS and nuclear employees. Even if you don’t see the value in park rangers (you should), surely you see the value in the FAA

While many environmentalists talk about public lands in relation to climate change, let’s also acknowledge the hardships the rangers and their families now face. No one is hiring rangers right now. Many of them moved to remote areas for these jobs. Many of them dedicated years to these orgs 💔

THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT OUTDOOR RECREATION BECAUSE THEY WANT TO OPEN FEDERAL PUBLIC LANDS UP TO OIL & GAS DRILLING, MINERAL EXTRACTION, AND UNSUSTAINABLE LOGGING.

Not only do I live zero waste with pets but my dog helps me live MORE zero waste by eating food waste 👏🏼

Our nation's federal employees are more than just numbers on a spreadsheet.

They make sure we have clean water.

They protect us from financial fraud.

They provide healthcare to our communities.

They make our government actually work for people.
