A graphic featuring two swans on an icy canal, a book cover for an anthology called Absolute Zero, and the text: "A former Glasgow policeman haunted by an inexplicably brutal murder. A young couple sleepwalking towards disaster. Cold Case"
I'm not known for historical fiction but a while back I wrote a story set in Glasgow in 1960, a time when there were a number of infamous murder sprees. It's a story about the human cost of working on those criminal cases involving absolutely inexplicable inhumanity.
