DAY 2 – SE.next: Research in the Agentic Era
If AI teammates can run our experiments and replicate our results, and the thing we study is fundamentally changing, what exactly is the researcher’s job?
DAY 3 – SE.next: Raising the Agentic Engineer
We are still teaching students to write code. Their future employers will hire them to direct AI teammates. Something has to give.
Chair: Ahmed E. Hassan, NSERC/RIM Industrial Research Chair in Software Engineering for Ultra Large Scale systems and the Canada Research Chair in Software Analytics at the School of Computing in Queen's University.
