If you vote for the empty promises of the party in charge, you deserve to be aggressively primaried.

I think sometimes they were "abandoned" due to lack of popularity but are still excellent (at least when it comes to popular fruits like apples, tomatoes, etc).

Albemarle pippins, for example, are local to Albemarle County, VA

So I want to chime in that there has been a fair amount of work done on apple cultivars in Virginia. While I don't know tribal involvement in specific cultivar history (yet) - I do know that there have been apple orchards in VA since the mid-1700's and Jefferson did some development too.

Curious about your take on simply making Medicaid the default for everyone? I may have missed it 2/2 the algorithm

Chili and cornbread. Apple everything (we live in Virginia apple country). Probably some quesadillas one night (the one when I get home too late for real cooking)

This is wonderful! It also tracks with my own experience with permethrin-treated clothing and mosquito bites (admittedly in an area without endemic malaria).

We have this in our rotation too! We sub the salmon for different fish sometimes but it's still excellent

I'll play - here's this week. Chicken and lentils is a crockpot winner. Taking a chance with the lemon sole.

West Virginia also happens to be the home of the New River Gorge, which is an amazing rock climbing destination. But it's also not super well developed so there's room to grow. It's an opportunity and climbers have done this sort of work before elsewhere (Joe's Valley, Red River Gorge,...)

I'm interested. Also if you cover the loss of things like vaccines and other public health measures with such a change. And what the fallout is in smaller communities vs the larger ones that we tend to think of as civilization. Infant death, etc.

I really love that you raise the question "who deserves to give you feedback?" in an empowering way.
This whole post warmed my heart like tater tots warm my belly.

Sentenced And just like that, what was once thought to be impossible happened.

The judge held a sentencing and imposed unconditional discharge: joycevance.substack.com/p/sentenced

Seeing people say "who hasn't accidentally added the wrong person to a group chat?" makes me cringe for this exact reason!

VOTE NO ON CLOTURE. if you vote yes for cloture, that's as good as voting FOR the continuing resolution - which gives up the power of the purse to the executive branch.
Don't sell the country out.
