What is your favorite memory of playing FF Tactics? Too many vying for the top spot. Timing a slow, heavy AoE spell to connect with a giant group of opponents and wiping them out, raining meteorites down on my enemies with my own army of red chocobos, the ASMR induced by the in-game dialogue boxes, T.G. Cid, getting soft locked by Wiegraf/Velius in chapter 3 ... wait. What's your favorite aspect of Tactical RPGs like FFT? The ability to create absolutely broken combos through job and skill inheritance. It's not a bug, it's a feature! There's no one "right" answer to many fights, and that keeps the gameplay interesting.

What inspired you to choose your track? I've never played FFT and wasn't familiar with its music prior to this album, but Chromatic Apparatus asked if anyone was going to do the opening theme and I was suddenly inspired to make it happen. Of course I wanted to include him on the arrangement since it was his suggestion, which is what led me toarranging it as a piano/cello duet! Were there challenges in arranging for this instrumentation? Neither of the instruments I arranged for are my primary instrument, which meant there was a decent amount of me asking myself "is this actually possible or is it just more advanced than my playing abilities" haha. Thankfully Felix is a badass and makes the piano part look easy! I generally let Chromatic Apparatus do what he thought was best with articulations and even took his suggestion for moving one melodic line up an octave. Working on this arrangement with both of them was truly a rewarding experience and I can't thank them enough for playing for it!
