I am now working for a school district that I love and this article explains just one of the reasons. I am a small part of this massive undertaking, but it has been such a personally rewarding effort. It is also demonstrating to the students that huge tasks can be accomplished by working together.

Can MAGA now turn the focus to the born? I am in the schools everyday in Trump country and a shocking number of these kids need food, clean clothes, suitable housing, and adult supervision.

My grandmother made this quilt after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Knowing she was nearing the end, she cut up her dresses to use as fabric squares and quilted one for all of her grandchildren. Some 35 years later, I still remember her wearing these dresses, which recalls such loving memories.
