Extraordinary new work from Joan Naviyuk Kane. I always learn something from her poems, always. No matter how many times I read the lines. So dense, so intelligent, so kinetic.

Today in Tokyo, my wife and I witnessed the infancy of Spring's rebirth & sat on a bench together, and I read her poetry ("Praxis" by @jackbedell.bsky.social & Satya Dash's "Almost an Aubade with Foliage and Light" from Issue 21, and Mary Oliver's "Wild Geese"). It was as perfect as it sounds.
