A new short documentary follows two people who met in virtual reality, as furries, who go on to complete a viscerally physical exchange: one donates a kidney to the other.

"The Reality of Hope" title, featuring the documentary's subjects, Photographotter and Hiyu, sat in a VRChat recreation of a kidney dialysis room. Official Selection 2025, Sundance Film Festival.
