I'm studying to become a Tech Artist. Not just because I love the challenge and out-of-the-box thinking required to do the job, but mainly because its something I often told myself I couldn't do. I wanna prove my negative thoughts wrong.

This is really well made. Very impressive.

That's what's worrying me. I haven't been able to recreate it, but I do suspect it has to do with some sort of control input either before or while entering a door.

I played mine and ran i to a strange graphical glitch when entering a room. The screen flashed a green color and soft locked. Thankfully, I didn't brick my GBA.

You know what... sure... why not! 40 minute color sketch. I loved the low angle perspective that @catcitrus.bsky.social drew and thought it would be cute to make something on par, even if the outfit is obscured as a result.

I'm gonna make a list of the very specific things I want to do someday... Goals, I guess.

1) Work on game series I like (paid or pro bono).

2) Make comics for game series I like (paid or pro bono).

3) Learn how to make my own games.

4) Get back into freelance full-time again.

That's all I want!

I'm curious to know what working in the gaming industry is like now compared to when I was actively involved or when I was putting myself out there for freelance work. I gave up on trying to land solid work LONG ago...

What's this... Jasmine's idle animation.. but in HD?

Yes. I wanted to share a bit more info about how this was made. It's not traditional pixel art! It's actually a rig made with vector images, bones, all that good stuff... that was later downscaled to 10% and exported.

Every fighter should have a good idle animation! Again I wanna say that mine is technically NOT a DTIYS since this is very much a trace of @awd.bsky.social 's sketch, but hey... it's animated tho.

This was a lot of fun.

Technically what I'm doing isn't a DTIYS since all I did was clean up @awd.bsky.social's sketch of Jasmine's fighting stance so far, but that's only half of I what I got planned.
