I, a citizen, am not just willing but eager to take the bus. It's going where I need it to, when I need it to. Affordability is not a factor. And STILL there are too many practical hurdles. Paying to ride the bus is a big hassle! I can never get people excited about this, but I'm right!

From the NYT app, the headline and deck: "6 Memorable Moments from the 'Trump Kennedy Center' Honors President Trump expressed his love of 'Phantom of the Opera,' got in more digs at Jimmy Kimmel and joked about adding his name to the arts center."

The NYT doesn't have to do this. They are known and respected for their serious arts coverage, and yet they're choosing to cover this travesty with a light heart. It's such a betrayal.
