Definitely get the feeling from those comments that the whole thing fell apart over his unwillingness to give Semedo more game time upfront - the bit about not putting the work in is definitely him. But at least they've learned from it and shipped him off and backed RLB

I get your point but opposition is irrelevant to me. I’m going to watch Sunderland not the other team. I was interested to get a look at Salis and see how some of the fringe players got on, like Jones and Hjelde. It wasn’t the best game but I have no regrets.

Getting it done early doors needs to be applauded too! Those extra games with him available and extra time to find his feet could be crucial
