I was just hurrying across at Kennington from the City branch of the Northern Line to the Charing Cross branch when the doors of the train in front me closed. In frustration I yelled out ‘oh for f**k’s sake!’ - and the doors opened! I’m a Train Whisperer and am going to pass my advice to tourists

Instead of mending the broken indicator, it has been removed it altogether. The stops on Brixton Rd just along from the Tube are an important hub for the people who keep London going, the exhausted office cleaners and refuse collectors who would like to know when their bus home is due. Shameful,TFL.
