I think the province should have to collect their own Education tax, not via the municipal gov'ts as is the case. Many citizens assume that the bottom line dollars on their tax notice are all going to your city or town when in fact, nearly half of that bill has to be forwarded to the AB gov't!

I'm 77, born of immigrant parents from England who came for the $10/160 acres dream of farmland. I have lived all my life in Alberta, I too find AB much different now. I lived through Manning, Strom,Klein, Getty, Stelmach, Redford, Prentice Hancock,Notley,& Kenney. None compare to Smith!

Successful rally yesterday outside the office of MLA for Lethbridge East Nathan Neudorf which marked the end of the 90 day bogus Recall Petition filed by Ryan Tanner! It was was loud and strong. Lethbridge will not forget anytime soon how Ryan Tanner and alleged accomplices thwarted democracy.
