ystrday I tracked 6 or 7 cover musics into lsdj in like under 8hours, which felt like going from snail to cheetah tempo with my lsdj tracking speed

amazing how something that feels so NOT intuitive at first glance (lsdj ui) turns efficient once it clicked for you

never heard anyone say "das ist aber ein beleibter kollege" in my life, but this is funny

since stem splitters are integrated into so many daws now and I have enough old projects where I wished I had 'em, this is gonna be a good start

only used them for remixing or transcription purposes as of now, but I'd like to get more creative with it in that project

on another note, I'm planning more music releases!

I got a few buckets of themed music projects that keep growing. one of them's alrdy 50% done & I have a pretty strong image for its visuals. title still a mystery to me

I never played any game of the earthbound series

recently I tried to remedy that by starting earthbound beginnings and just playing a short amount of time each day

today I stumbled into magicant and I'm happy to say it finally starts to click. love the music!

another thing I'm noticing, again, is that almost all my favourite video games have time as a very prominent subject in their stories.

killing time in the context off this game is not only a fun joke, it's woven very deeply into the story. alas, death to chronos

years ago ek alrdy said something like "musicians should see their music as content/product, rather than art" which was a big warning signal to the system thats so easily exploited nowadays

It's in fact impossible for me to be really confident about any mix, until this is solved and I finally got a new place for my stuff and where I can be reasonably loud.

Wish I had a proper environment for loud mixing. Finished mixing a song of a friend of mine, where I was on guitar duty as well. Very satisfied with the mix. It's just that I can only mix & listen on cans & my laptop speaker rn. It's impossible for me to be REALLY confident about the mix this way.

Recently went through the #chrono-trigger and tried to highlight the usage of motives and their development.
The C Section in Battle with Magus is such a nice example of very simple, but effective combination AND development of motives right at the most climatic moment of the piece. It's brilliant.
