This should drive out the professional operators and move Airbnb closer to its original ethos.
19.11.2024 10:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In fact, my best experiences have been in relatively untouristy locations (rural, small towns) and my worst in tourist hotspots like Barcelona, because they attract operators running a portfolio of properties as a business, charging as much as they can and spending as little as they can.
19.11.2024 10:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβve had many excellent Airbnb experiences over the years but by far the worst was in Barcelona, in an apartment owned by a professional (well, it was their professional activity, they didnβt demonstrate much professionalism) rental company (the biggest issue being a broken boiler; it was winter).
