into a binary!!!! it exists outside the two binaries of man and woman. anything or anyone outside of either of those two binaries falls under nonbinary. this includes literally anything that isn’t a fully aligned (or sometimes cis) gender.

so often when people call themselves a bi lesbian they use the term bi as a means to exaggerate that they are attracted to women AND those outside the gender binary/anyone else that doesn’t identify as a man. plus people tend to forget a lot of others have varying sexual + romantic attractions

like. most people assume bisexual is liking men AND women, period, but literally BY DEFINITION it’s liking more than one gender .. 😭 that is not just subject to men and women

it especially baffles me to see the amount of people that get heated over bi/pan lesbians cause it really just reveals how little people know about bisexuality ☠️

there are numerous sources out here to back the label and explain it to those who would like to learn. while the term/label lesboy is rather new—only being coined a few years ago— the history surrounding “male/masc lesbians” and butches is not :-)
