Millions of tiny plastic “bio-beads” washed up at Camber Sands after a sewage tanker incident — and Peacehaven’s treatment works uses the same process.

I’ve requested an urgent meeting with Southern Water to demand answers.
This Labour Government has frozen rail fares for the first time in 30 years — and it’s welcome news.
There’s still much more to do to improve our rail network — from better reliability to stronger accountability — but freezing fares is a move in the right direction.

& LGBT+ veterans to help make this happen — a vital step toward justice for those banned from serving simply for who they were.
Today I joined remembrance services in Rottingdean and Peacehaven to honour all those who gave their lives in service to our country.
It’s always deeply moving to see our communities come together to remember the courage and sacrifice of our Armed Forces, past and present.
We will remember them. 🌹

Rottingdean Library matters — and local people have made that clear.
Almost 3,000 residents took part in the citywide consultation on Brighton & Hove’s libraries.
It’s a vital part of village life — and I’ll keep working with the Council, the Parish Council and campaigners to find a solution.
