Alternative cards include Frosmoth instead of Starmie for Sleep Disruption or Lapras EX instead of Articuno EX for more of a tanky approach. Of course, you’d have to get lucky with the current event and I don’t have one yet, so I’ll stick with this for now.

All Out Offensive

Projected Tier: Tier 1

Normally I won’t cover a meta deck this early, but it fits the theme. A deck with strong EXs that can be powerful even without a decent Misty. Take it from me, I’m now 24 Misty without a heads.

Kabutops provides a tanky answer to Pikachu EX while not taking the Active Spot early on.

Overall, a deck that can play fast with Brock or play tanky with Kabutops. A solid choice if you keep facing Pikachu or Blaine decks.

Rock Hard Defense

Projected Tier: Tier 3

A surprising deck when caught unaware, Pokemon have enough HP to force Giovanni plays from opponents. If you can get Brock and Onix you can attack on turn 2, even going first if you’re lucky.

#PokemonTCGPocket Don’t sleep on Brock. If you build the deck right it takes full advantage of the meta. Make sure you take out Jynx and Ivysaur as early as you can as that’s your main weakness.

Would be a broken pack for sneak peek, that’s for sure.
