My art is hand-drawn with traditional media, then scanned to make digital versions.

But how does it survive in there, without air? Without flesh to gnaw or blood to drink or a bonded soul to leech? It must be life, no other explanation may suffice. But its machinations are impossible to grasp. Moreover, if it lives, it might think. And if it thinks... What is its conception of me?

The thing is alive. Of that, I am certain. It puffs and pulls like lungs, and tests the limit of its binds like a prisoner. Intrigued by me it tracks my eyes in turn, emanating warmth and nudging its jar in near-imperceptible increments.

These tomes are dense with knowledge - if facts are to be found, they will be found here. And yet... I can find no record of such exotic material. I must find out more through firsthand research. Gob, it hurts to look at, I don't know how Ringli can keep his eyes on it so long.

I thought it a solid, but it molds to its container as though fluid. Its structure is comprised of discontinuities, its taste is rectangular, and its smell is best described as sinusoidal. No written record in my library alludes to this material or its blighted guardians, I am almost certain.

On-site I discovered a portal or displacement of unfamiliar sort. Therein, I acquired two artifacts - a Knight's dagger covered in the curious blood of the aforementioned rat, and a floating... thing... made of much the same. This thing has become the object of my obsession.

For those unaware, not long ago I responded to an incident involving a downed observation tower. I thought it to be a weather-related collapse, but it turned out to be exotic vandalism involving a rat and a Sklurrmaid. The details are embarrassing - I was unprepared.

I had to step away from research regarding those malformed creatures for a time. Miss Cohesion brought us a tale - and when a woman of her renown speaks, you'd do right to listen. Most of the living would tell you otherwise, but the words of the undead are wise and mesmerizing in equal measure.

Not to say I dislike the peace it brings, but my. I've been silent for a moment too long, wouldn't you think? I wager it's time I check back in... and build a habit of it, too.

It's February, and I'm giving a general update!

It's so sad whenever I try to check in on some of my favorite small artists and YouTube channels, only to find they're completely gone. Makes me regret not being more vocally supportive... I can only hope they're doing well.

I run into this constantly. Now I copy my comment before posting in case it gets eaten. Seems to be a filtering issue - only happens to me with "violent" language, even if the context isn't (e.g. "dead simple" or similar). Shouldn't have to do a word puzzle to post a comment...

Mostly Genesis games - some like Dynamite Headdy and Gunstar Heroes are lovely experiences! Golden Axe not so much, but at least I've played it now. So much good music in Streets of Rage 1 and 2. Bit of DOS too, mainly the original Wasteland which is a trip after playing the sequels.

I'm usually pretty quiet and introverted, but I'll take this as motivation to do better. Good time to mention that finding your page got me thinking about what classic games I've missed out on... and there's a lot. Also reminded me that green/teal/purple is one of the best color palettes.✨

I've just spent some time sampling potions with my roommate Mochi. Unlike most Wereweres, she doesn't fancy herself a killer, instead burying her nose in intellectual and creative pursuits. Though I envy her intelligence, one can't help but see untapped potential in those claws...
