πŸ“’ New paper!

F0 estimation is a classic task in the Music Information Retrieval (#MIR) community. Yet, it's much less studied in bioacousticsβ€”despite its frequent use to describe animal sounds.

By only considering a single ecological trait for each species, we risk oversimplifying the complexity in nature.
