I don’t think I *am* ill (I hope) but ever since yesterday’s walk (which was also very beautiful) it also feels like I might have picked up something at some point that might just be waiting for that extra push to flare up.

It’s so incredibly beautiful outside today but everything in my body is screaming “no, today is not a good day for a walk”, so as this is unusual enough, I think I should probably listen.

No fever but feeling just .. tired. A bit wobbly on my feet. Achy. Hands are freezing indoors.

I think it’s a site issue. I was having trouble with it loading last night already, and it’s quite intermittent today - occasionally OK, then loading very slowly. No internet issues otherwise.

Yeah, that sounds awful. I’ve never engaged with any of that so the algorithms still largely offer me various more neutral or pro-Ukraine/NAFO stuff in the For You tab the rare times I look there but given its general state, I don’t really want to *be* there and give it traffic. It sucks.

I very rarely even look at it now. Just occasionally to check on the more recent posts of some people I’ve been mutuals with for a long time.

It does. I really don't want to become too reliant on it, I hate what it's doing to arts and human creativity, but as a tool replacing searching through hundreds of random forum threads for a "maybe?" answer to some computer issue it's coming in quite handy.

I hate to admit it (and I try to use it as minimally as possible) but ChatGPT can actually be quite helpful when it comes to troubleshooting random sudden very specific computer issues, like “why is this thing not working when it worked yesterday”, to help isolate and solve the possible problem.

Wasn’t as bad as I feared. Kept all my fingers. Didn’t even have to walk backwards too much. Quite, uh, refreshing, though, LOL.

Should go out for a walk but .. really don’t want to. Sigh.

Maybe for a short one. I don’t think my hands can survive the usual 45-60 minute walk in this weather. Not even with the thickest mittens. Stupid circulation issues and freezing hands. Sigh.

After the way the 2020s have been so far, I think we all (or, well, most of us anyway, heh) deserve a better year. Fingers crossed 2026 *will* be gentler and easier.

See on eriti nõme olukord ju. Vähemalt selle laenutamiseks lubatud aja jooksul võiks ju ikkagi raamat kasutaja seadmes alles püsida.

Ahaa, peaks ka mingil ajal katsetama. Korra vaatasin, aga ilma tellijaks hakkamata ei olnud head ülevaadet ja ma ei viitsinud lihtsalt ehku peale proovimiseks kontot teha ja äpiga lugeris jamada (et kas üldse toimib jne). Aga mingi hetk peaks siis proovima, kui Elisa Raamat enam ei rahulda.

Ma olen korduvalt Mirkosse pilgu heitnud, aga tundub üsna lahja. :(

Kasutan praegu Keskraamatukogu kaudu Libby/Overdrive’i (ingliskeelsed, valik pole suur, aga midagi ikka) ja emaga kahasse Elisa Raamatu e-raamatute tellimust. Nende äpp on üsna hale (ma loen Booxi lugeris), aga kärab kah.

Täiesti võimalik, et kõik pole ka seekord saanud - mul nüüd esimest korda nende testide ajal kõik toimis. Natuke varem tuli SMS ka EE-alarmilt eelteatega, aga suht täpselt kella 15 ajal tulid mõlema äpi teated ka nii telefonis kui ka kellas läbi. Nii et minu vaatevinklist on areng toimunud. :D

Oo, seekord tulid kõik teated igas äpis (nii Ole valmis kui ka Eesti äpis) kohe läbi ja sireen on ka tuppa väga selgelt kosta. Tundub, et kogu see testimine on ikka abiks olnud.

Mul tundus alguses mõnda aega täiesti korras kõik, aga pidin ka ikkagi silikooni lõpuks nahkrihma vastu vahetama pärast seda, kui silikooni all mingid nahakihid randmelt lihtsalt maha hõõrdusid. Päris verele ei jõudnud õnneks minna, aga nahkrihmaga pole sellist asja juhtunud.
