My summer job during college was at the gas station I had started working at during high school. My time at Trumbull ARCO included the 1979 Oil Crisis. Every morning, I would go past a line of 100 or so cars. There was a definite 70s zeitgeist going on then. Many 8 tracks played in those cars.

You'd think they would, or at least committee staff could provide details. Conflating 47 years since the establishment of the Islamic Republic and since 1947 may be a slip of the tongue but also one that should be easily and quickly corrected unless one has no historical context.

It's so much easier to walk into those errors when you have no historical knowledge beyond the single talking point that's been handed to you.

Walter, an orange tabby cat, loves modeling in his cosmic cat tunnel. Walter was adopted by my cousin after his original people could not care for him and he started living outside my cousin's house. Despite his hard life, he maintained his love for people.

Me holding Walter on the day my cousin first brought him in the house after we did extensive flea treatment outside.

I helped give my cousin the final push to adopt Walter, who had been regularly camping out at her house. Despite a hard life, he's still a playing and cuddling maniac who loves people.
