I used to care a lot more when people would do that, but one day I heard someone say, ‘They’re not paying my bills, taxes, or living my life so they have nothing to say’ -

Also sometimes I think of a beautiful place I visited in detail- all the sensory things I was experiencing and how I felt emotionally.

I find that listening to good podcasts, favorite music, calling a close friend is uplifting and relaxing. I also agree with one of the others above who about listening to audiobooks or learning words from other languages as long as it doesn’t become too taxing.

I felt the same joy in seeing my daughters involved from small roles such as prop/ set person, to large roles as main actress- It’s a wonderful thing when their joy becomes ours- Unfortunately the converse is also true.

Happy to hear that! Both my daughters were into theater in school and continue their love of it now.

So happy for you! It’s hard enough for me to write on a healthy day, let alone when I’m not feeling well- I do find though that I’ve written some of my best material when I’ve been under extreme stress and sleep deprivation- Go figure-

I didn’t realize this narrative was taking form and it’s very sad and frustrating to hear that. Some people’s intent to paint people who they disagree with as ‘other’ reflects their fear or lack of understanding. Maybe this narrative will be the catalyst for a new dialogue and change of perspective.

Not to mention that in many restaurants they wont automatically serve you iced water! It’s simply outlandish!! 🤣

I’m writing two books and a memoir. I’m also an artist. It’s a very multi-dimensional process and truly a labor of love. So a person that uses AI who calls themself a ‘writer’ is delusional. Same thing applies to so-called AI ‘artists’. Using a prompt to ‘create’ isn’t equivalent to creation.
