Scholars will give talks in the Moral Psychology Research Group over the next two days. Among other excellent talks, I will present my working paper in the data blitz: "Incongruent metaethical stance amplifies the perceived warmth-competence trade-off between relativistic and objectivistic targets."

Our new research with Elena Brandt and Paul Conway shows that when leaders expressed genuine emotional concern for those being harmed, their ratings for warmth, moral character, and leadership all increasedβeven when they still made the tough call.
