02.02.2026 22:49 β π 140 π 25 π¬ 1 π 0ha ha, I'm sure that will happen. Even with the public support.
02.02.2026 23:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I always thought it was parody though it can be hard to tell these days.
01.02.2026 17:01 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0honest question, how do Democrats have the power to abolish ICE currently?
29.01.2026 20:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Current way is not working.
29.01.2026 00:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It is not nearly enough for me especially as a starting point in negotiation but I appreciate your civil tone.
28.01.2026 22:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0omg I can't believe you're as obtuse as you come off. Of course I meant after the inauguration.

Does this seem like an adequate response to what's going on?
from Schumer:
1/ End roving patrols; tighten the rules on warrants and require ICE to coordinate with local authorities.
2/ Enforce accountability; a uniform code of conduct.
3/ Require masks off, body cameras on, agents carry ID.
I disagree. The time to think about the consequences was Jan 7 2020 and an insurrectionist was allowed to not face consequences. I also don't agree with your assessment of who has to be "thrown under the bus". But we'll never know what they require unless Democrats mount meaningful resistance.
28.01.2026 22:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0"Just got back from the centrist rally. Amazing turnout. Thousands of people holding hands and chanting βBetter things arenβt possibleβ"
28.01.2026 22:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Clearly.
28.01.2026 22:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I fear Democrats are cooked. If they're not complicit they are incredibly inept. I'd love to be proven wrong in the coming days.
28.01.2026 22:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Maybe you think Kamala is white centered, I don't know. Weird to me that you would introduce race but whatever. I know whatever candidate Democrats pick absolutely requires strong black support.
28.01.2026 22:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I voted for Kamala last election. I just want the elected representatives to do their job and represent and lead. All resistance is coming from the bottom, where is the matching energy at the top?
28.01.2026 22:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0I don't see any currently but when the election comes I'll do what I've always done, hold my nose and vote for the lesser of 2 evils.
28.01.2026 22:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0You're right, it's too hard. No need to try. Let's just wait and hope Republicans see the light while ethnic cleansing continues and citizens are gunned down.
28.01.2026 22:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0definitely not all of them.
28.01.2026 21:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0You are content with the Democrats efforts? I'm not. They should match the intensity of the people of Minneapolis every single day with every tool at their disposal some of which I listed.
28.01.2026 21:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I agree with that. Let's see leadership try while the people are literally getting killed out in the streets.
28.01.2026 21:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0never claimed it did. Any effort to repeal coming from leadership? Or are Democrats still voting to "express gratitude" to ICE like some did last year?
28.01.2026 21:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0offering numerous amendments, and forcing roll-call votes, while also using oversight (requesting witnesses/documents). They could be discussing and organizing things like a general strike and leading people instead of texting for donations. They could match the intensity of the people of Minn.
28.01.2026 21:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Aside from not voting for more ICE funding and approving trump's judge nominees and voting for resolutions to thank ICE, they could be using procedural tactics like delaying votes (e.g., "motion to adjourn"), using committee rules (like quorum requirements),
28.01.2026 21:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
an actual resistance not overly concerned with their colleague's opinion (and that's the kindest explanation) would use procedural methods:
Quorum calls, UC objections, forcing recorded votes, the two-hour rule.
Sure, they've made an environmentally catastrophic mass hallucination disinformation plagiarism Clippy that will destabilize the world, but also their other goal is to replace human workers entirely and let us humans starve. A boycott of AI is the most important boycott of your entire life.
