There are lots of layers.
When they know youβre calling around they tend to give you their βbestβ price but considering those are essentially commodities, the pricing varies widely.
How do you save 20-40% on your material costs for construction?
Shop around your items line by line and speak to the contractor representative at the supply houses.
We reduced our lumber order by 27%, hardware by 43% and delivery charges to $0 with about 3 hours of work.
Time well spent.
If you are selling a property and working with buyers, the best piece of advice I can give you is close your mouth and open your ears.
It is amazing what buyers will tell you if you give them the chance.
