I also chatted with people about activities they love to do alone, from hikes to movies to meals out:

Suddenly, your doctor won't call you back. I know this is what they'll do because it's what they're doing to transgender healthcare right now.

When you have an audience or a business you have to ensure that you always provide a lot more value to people than you extract from them. If you don't then, long term, it all breaks down.

Racism legitimately does have long term physical effects on Black people. Constant stress and hyper vigilance does a number on our bodies. Then there’s environmental racism. Racism when we go to be treated in healthcare settings. It’s detrimental to our health.

I’ve come to realize people think slurs are just words that hurt our feelings. No. Slurs, particularly the N-word, F-word, antisemitic terms etc. aren’t taboo because of that. It’s because historically when these terms are said they precede or pair with pitchforks, torches, lynchings & gas chambers.
