Its stressful because after seeing how far behind i was compared to my peers, I did a ton of studying, just not the right way, only now am i realizing how much conscious effort it takes to improve, like making finished pieces instead of just grinding fundamentals/photostudies.

I relate heavily to the whole, not grasping what that actually entailed part as a current illustration student. Part of me wishes I went to college later with more skill, or not at all considering the cost but but I think it's been okay as a kind of wake-up slap and also to stick with art.
