sorry, this really struck me and i had to write a poem about it. the poppy flowers.. look like they have eyes, and there could be teeth in the sunflowers... mhmm....

as you wove ruin through my ribs, pulling, tearing, taking.

I was loyal, golden, grinning—until my petals split to teeth,
until the sunflowers chewed their own stems, choking on the dark.
