This is absolutely it! I live in the Pennine Villages. It's made up of old mill cottages where a couple is a crowd and £300k+ houses for families (I happened a rare opportunity to find something in between - a new build on a brownfield site). Without affordable family home, villages will die.

You'll notice the report calls for more for victims and also support for housing providers to be able to deal with the court system more efficiently, both calls that we would broadly welcome. When you go to Hull and talk to residents, many remember John Prescott. They all have their opinions and they all vary, but there's a fondness for a man who was larger than life and listened. Heard the same from my former boss who'd been his press officer. #RIP
