We briefly looked outward
For uplifting word,

We just want to sleep,
But alas, no such luck;

Without rest, we wither,
Aloof on the floor,
Our patience quite thin

We watch all our movies,
And play all our games,
As one with the couch

SNIFFLING & SNEEZES
(A Poem)

Sniffling and sneezes,
Coughing and pain,
The Nerdiest household
Has illness let reign.

From infantile snot glob
To fully-grown cold,
The victims afflicted
Are both young and old.

My wife (reading a kids’ book):
“How will YOU change the world?”

My 2yo daughter:
*puts fingers in both nostrils*

Baby: “I’m tired”

Me: “Go to sleep”

Baby: “That’s the dumbest ****ing thing I’ve ever heard”

In all seriousness, we’re never going to Urban Air on a Saturday again. Nothing against the staff at all, they did what they could, but in such a huge mass of kids of ALL ages, there were so many bullies.

Extremely proud of how my stepkids kept the hostility in the arena. 💪
