Being a Black autistic woman often means being overlooked in diagnosis and misunderstood afterward. So many of us grow up thinking we’re “just weird” or “too much,” when really we were unsupported autistic kids who became unsupported autistic adults.

We are kicking off the week this week with co-working at 9am on Monday! See you in a couple of hours! Then Thursday, Legends ZA returns! (hopefully no more cases of wayward bus passes!)

Yesterday I went outdoor ice skating for the first time in a few years! So today will be a bit more of a low key day I think. I’m doing some statistics tutoring in a couple of hours and then after that I’ll probably do a bit of cooking I think!

So one thing I didn’t wanna bring up on stream last night because I’m still processing, is Papa Quarts decided to sell the house and will put it up for sale in Jan. I have until the end of Feb to move out, & with no job or solid income & a previous eviction on my record, I don’t think I will get approved anywhere. I’m gonna look into private rooms for rent & hope somewhere will allow me to bring Clancy, but these next few months are going to be a difficult transition and I don’t know what the future for streams will look like as a result. I love building this community, growing and learning about myself. I want nothing more for this journey to continue, especially with all of the accomplishments we’ve made this year. But being realistic, my priority is gonna have to be finding a roof over my head for Clancy & I. I’ll keep you updated on how things go. I have an appointment to meet with rental assistance on Monday. For now, send gouda vibes. I’m nervous about what the future holds.
