I dread to think where we'd be without you and your team stepping into the breach.

I was shocked.
Unlike one of his rallies he didn't end the address with his beloved Double Jerkoff Dance. As his beloved spouse says, everyone loves when he does his trademark dance.
In all other respects, it was a standard trump rally, including standing ovations after each lie and distortion.

Another fake/staged assassination attempt coming up?
Won't be surprising if it happens.

Actually, flipping control of the House is the key first step. Removing an obstructionist Speaker and allowing meaningful legislation and committee hearings to advance is a vital beginning to removing the malign influence of this corrupt bastard and his toadies.

Thank you for the gift article link. I haven't watched Harold and Maude in a long time, and this article brings back some great memories. RIP Bud Cort.

How about a brief video - or even a couple of tweets - describing the consequences for violating the Epstein disclosure act?
As far as I can see, the penalties include hand-wringing, complaining, and very little else. Sounds like they can disregard the law with impunity.

I'd feel more confident if Morgan & Morgan were involved in the civil damages litigation.

Now I have to dig up the photos I've taken of wood storks. I love those birds, and the sound of their jaws closing when they snap up some food is something you really need to hear. Such beautiful birds, and I'm happy if their numbers are rebounding. I love watching them when they soar.

And, as we've seen, the courts are increasingly impotent to curb abusive, illegal, and unethical behavior by trump's minions. Violate a court order? Hand wringing by the judges. Disregard the Epstein disclosure law? Fretting and frowns from those who helped pass it.

It will also disenfranchise millions of their own voters, though, won't it?
This bill is nothing more than grandstanding and yet another distraction from stuff like ICE's Gestapo tactics, Epstein, and the increasingly deranged behavior of the Racist In Chief.

Not what it means to "beg the question."

Wasn't a hit-and-run driver recently given a verrrry severe 4 month sentence after the victim died?
If this victim recovers, expect to see the driver plead guilty to something like disturbing the peace, with a suspended sentence.

Can someone please explain why the courts are apparently powerless to issue punishment/consequences when their orders are defied?
This hand-wringing is pathetic. It makes me pessimistic about the role of the judiciary in the 2026 elections when the trump thugs will be oppressing voters.

It would have had better reviews if it included tons of photos/videos of her when she was a softcore model.
Sorry for stating the obvious.

Dude, you won't have a "day in court." It will be yet another TACO moment that the thugs hope the media won't cover, the day they hear a judge dismiss the charges.
Keep going forward, my man. Give us a glimmer of hope.

Why is there no enforcement mechanism for punishing failure to provide all the files at once? Why so gleeful at these trickling redacted fragments?

This should be repeated daily.
It sums up the sad times in which we live.

Wow, a backbone made of Silly Putty.
God damn it, when will the fucking Dems ever learn?

Next time trump is arrested, treat him like a common criminal: Handcuffs, cavity search, orange jumpsuit, and put him in with the other criminals in a holding cell.
Can't wait for 2029, when that will happen.
Hopefully, in numerous states.
Maybe even numerous other countries.

"[t]hey're not good at it."
Oh, whoops, I thought he was talking about the people in Congress who pass laws that have virtually consequences for violations. Such as in this case.
I guess hand-wringing is an effective form of enforcement. Put Sen. Collins in charge. That'll pay dividends.

30.01.2026 22:22 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 0    📌 0

Wow, he's threatening to issue more "show cause" orders that will, no doubt, be ignored as have been every other order from that court. With no repercussions and no penalties.
Sort of like a Congressional subpoena: Ignore without fear.

29.01.2026 03:06 — 👍 7    🔁 0    💬 0    📌 0

Did he also attach an appendix listing all the consequences they suffered for their violations?
Wait, let me guess: Yet another stern warning. And that's it.

And what exactly are the remedies available for this failure to comply with the statute?
I've seen no one discuss that aspect. It seems hand-wringing and complaining are the two remedies most are choosing. Perhaps those are the only choices and the statute is toothless.

Maybe they can adopt flat fee rules for different zones within the muni. Other cities have implemented flat fees and the taxis are very competitive with the Lyft/Uber type rides, especially during peak demand periods.

And if you're not seeing SCOTUS for what it now is, you're ignoring what will happen when trump declares that the military and ICE will ensure that 2026 will have "fair" elections. The stage is set for an ugly November, aided and abetted by the most unethical, corrupt SCOTUS ever.

For god's sake, would you get off this "malignant narcissist" crap? You've been pounding that drum for more than 8 years. We get it. He's mentally ill. We've heard it and heard it and heard it.
No sane person disputes this. Find something that will resonate.

Probably ought to change the DeSantis stuff to Byron Donalds. He's the heir apparent for FL governor.
