My energy reading at 8.45 this morning. The gas central heating had been on for 45 mins heating the whole house. The electric is just from lights etc + the wacking great standing charge. The price of electricity makes us all make unsustainable energy choices however much renewable electric there is

Spark Evan’s Bridge - out of action for 28 months now. Should have opened last Oct then they realised that the ramp up to it didn’t meet regulations and had to be replaced. Who commissioned that? Who bid for the contract? No urgency shown in completing this work either.

À ‘mast’ year for British apples last year apparently, anyone with an apple tree had so many they couldn’t give them away. And yet almost none of the apples in Tesco today were British. Many were French. Why is there still no investment being made in British farming?
