There were many issues with requiem for larp, but the absolute most frustrating part was the system. Masquerade et al had their own Minds Eye Theatre subset of the rules which were simplified and ground up built for larp. I'm reminded, by contrast of the Babylon 5 episode where Londo and G'kar are trapped in a burning lift, and Londo is insisting that G'kar help him in attempting to get out because together they actually have a chance, and G'kar basically goes "nah, this way I get to watch you die."
